Procedures
Photography is the art of creating pictures. You make choices and decisions on how the end result will look.
Therefore we work a lot with our own cameras, with computers and in the darkroom. We also work together discussing each others photos.
Just as important are the experiences we gain from camping and the camaraderie around the campfire. In the spring you will work on your chosen larger photography project.
Practical Information
The Photography class has their own computer room with 6 workstations and wireless network where you can connect your lap top.
The darkroom has 11 workstations and equipment for both colour and black and white developing.
We also have equipment for overtoning of slides, photo lamps for lighting/portrait photography, digital SLR cameras and computers with scanners and printers (A2).
You are required to have a digital SLR camera and personal hiking and skiing gear.
Photography Outdoor Life gives a foundation for applying for the second year course at Øytun – Nordic Nature Photography.
